Acetylene gas (C2H2) is a synthesized gas that has one of the higher flame temperatures when combined with oxygen. This allows acetylene to be very effective when cutting steel and gas welding. Acetylene can also be used in portable lamps, and the production of chemicals and plastics.

Air

Compressed air is used to calibrate sensitive analyzers that monitor environmental emissions, industrial hygiene and trace impurities. It’s also useful for cleaning debris from hard to reach areas. Air is used as a balancing gas for calibration mixtures. And it’s also essential for gas chromatograph detectors and atomic absorption spectrophotometers.

Argon gas is an irreplaceable element that’s used in many different industries. The diverse applications include production of incandescent lighting, metal fabrication, and solar panel manufacturing.

Carbon dioxide is often used as a shielding gas in welding when mixed with argon. We offer five different grades of carbon dioxide and also offer CO2 in liquid form. Contact our applications team and they will provide you the perfect solutions for your industry.

Helium is an important gas in welding, nuclear power plant cooling and low temperature research. It is also used in leak detection and cooling. Helium is widely used in the manufacturing and aerospace as well as a variety of industries.

Commercial nitrous oxide can be used as an oxidizer in rocketry and motor racing to increase thrust and horsepower. Nitrous oxide is a key component of semiconductor manufacturing, industrial hygiene monitoring of possible employee exposure to chemical hazards, and more.

Oxygen is used in industrial applications like steel making, welding, biotechnology and water purification. Industrial oxygen can improve yields, optimize performance, and lower costs; contact our gas applications team to get started

Nitrogen is used in a wide range of industries to improve efficiency, reduce costs and make operations safer. In liquid form you get the benefits of cooling, freezing or cryopreservation.

“Air Source Industries did a complete assessment of my gases. They looked at my uses and determined that I did not need the bulk system I had in place and could be more efficient by going to smaller liquid containers. That saved me a lot of money on my facility fee. Now, when my needs change I can change my order sizes with just a phone call.”

“Our delivery went as smooth as silk. The driver was courteous and put the cylinders in the right spot. Thank you for your help and great prices.”

“I’ve been using Air Source Industries for the past 10 years and have enjoyed working with the same people in their customer service during the entire 10 years.”

“I bring my own cylinders in to Air Source Industries to be filled while I wait. I’m always impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of the employees”.
